Highlights of Bank’s Financial Results for eleven-month reporting period

Baltic International Bank’s assets as at the end of November 2008 reached 174,547 million lats, which in comparison with the result for the third quarter has increased by 11.13 % or 19,427 million lats.

The total amount of deposits as at the end of November 2008 in comparison with the result as at the end of September has increased by 19,965 million lats or 12.77 %, and reached 156,339 million lats.  

By selling securities total portfolio decreased by 9.5 million lats and amounted to 13.5 million lats.

Capital adequacy in comparison with the result as at the end of third quarter has shown the positive trend and amounted to 10.18 %. In its turn, the liquidity index as at the end of November 2008 amounted to 71.63 % (Financial and capital markets commission approved minimal value of the index – 30 %).
